1. Membership Fees
- Non-Refundable: All membership fees paid to the Industry-Academia Consortium are non-refundable. Once payment is made, it is considered a contribution to the ongoing activities and programs of IAC and cannot be refunded.
2. Event Registration Fees
- Cancellation by Participant:
- If a participant chooses to cancel their registration for any paid event or program:
- 30 Days or More Before the Event: A full refund will be granted, minus any applicable administrative fees.
- 15–29 Days Before the Event: A 50% refund will be granted, minus any applicable administrative fees.
- 14 Days or Less Before the Event: No refunds will be provided.
- If a participant chooses to cancel their registration for any paid event or program:
- Cancellation by IAC:
- If IAC cancels an event, participants will receive a full refund of any registration fees paid. IAC is not responsible for travel or accommodation costs incurred by the participants.
3. Donations
- Non-Refundable: All donations made to IAC are non-refundable. We appreciate your contributions, which support our non-profit work in advancing industry-academia collaboration.
4. Workshop, Training, and Consultancy Fees
- Cancellation by Participant:
- 21 Days or More Before the Program Start Date: A full refund will be granted, minus administrative fees.
- 7–20 Days Before the Program Start Date: A 50% refund will be granted, minus administrative fees.
- Less than 7 Days Before the Program Start Date: No refunds will be provided.
- Rescheduling: Participants may request to reschedule their participation in a future workshop or training without incurring additional costs, provided the request is made at least 7 days before the original start date.
- Cancellation by IAC: In case of a program cancellation by IAC, participants will receive a full refund or may opt for rescheduling their participation in the next available session.
5. Refund Process
- All refund requests must be made in writing and sent via email to office@iaconsortium.org.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after the request has been approved.
- Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment used for the original transaction.
6. Special Circumstances
- IAC reserves the right to review and handle cancellation and refund requests on a case-by-case basis for special circumstances such as medical emergencies or other unexpected situations. In such cases, partial refunds or credits towards future events may be considered.
